Liquid/Air intercoolers offer extreme efficiencies and will outperform bar and plate Air/Air intercooler systems.

The Liquid/Air system works by transferring the charge air heat (from turbocharger or supercharger) to a liquid coolant; this coolant is then pumped to a remotely located heat exchanger where ambient cooling air removes the heat. The obvious advantage with this system is that you can optimally position your heat exchanger in the cooling air stream, regardless of the location of the engine or associated space limitations.

Those require extreme intercooling for high performance events such as drag racing can use ice to reduce intake charge to below ambient temperatures. HP for free!

Installation.

The EngineLogics Intercooler Kit needs an absolute minimum amount of modifications. Other than removing a very small amount of material from the bumper no other cutting is required. The Liquid Intercooler Core Drops in place of the old top mount intercooler, a small Heat Exchanger is attached to the bottom of the bumper core support beam, a water pump is installed between the bumper and fender liner and a water reservoir that can be filled with ice for extra HP is attached inside the engine bay. "Stealth" like never seen before.
