EngineLogics Inc. Warranties Statement
All products distributed by EngineLogics Inc. are subject to the following, and only the following, LIMITED EXPRESS WARRANTIES, and no others.
Engine Management Systems:
For a period of one (1) year from and after the date of purchase of a new manufacturer’s product, the “manufacturer” warranties and guarantees only to the original purchaser / user that such a product shall be free from defects of materials and workmanship in the manufacturing process.
All Other Products:
All other products available from EngineLogics Inc. are covered under the OEM warranty.
A product claimed to be defective must be returned to the place of purchase. The manufacturer at its sole discretion shall replace the defective product with a comparable new product or repair the defective product.
This expressive warranty shall be inapplicable to any product not properly installed and properly used by the purchaser – user or to any product damaged or impaired by external forces.
This is the extent of warranties available on products.
The manufacturer or EngineLogics Inc. shall have no liability whatsoever for consequential damages following from the use of any defective product or by reason of the failure of any product.
EngineLogics Inc. and the manufacturer specifically disclaims and disavows all other warranties, express or implied including, without limitation, all warranties of fitness for a particular purpose (except for those which apply to product or part thereof that is used or bought for use primarily for personal, family or household purposes), warranties of description, warranties of merchantability, trade usage or warranties of trade usage.
Neither EngineLogics Inc. nor the manufacture will bear the cost of return shipping of defective product. The only exception is if the wrong product was supplied.
In the event of a breakdown due to the use of our products neither EngineLogics Inc. nor the manufacturer will be responsible for the cost of any towing charges
In the event of a breakdown due to the use of our products neither EngineLogics Inc. nor the manufacturer of the products we sell will be responsible for the cost of a rental vehicle.
We’re justifiably proud of the service and support we provide.
If your ECU fails after the warranty has expired, we’re still happy to try and repair it for you, as long as you cover shipping costs to and from Link. However, the following conditions apply:
- Repair applies to failure or damage to the electronics only.
- If repairing the ECU would essentially mean replacing a substantial number, or all, of the electronics. (for example, if the ECU has been submerged in water, shorted by high voltages etc.) Link may deem it to be nu-repairable.
- The manufacturer will not and cannot repair physical damage to non-electronic components, such as the enclosure / connectors / loom etc. (for example, if you stand on the case and crush it – again, these will be charged).
- Regardless of any other terms and conditions, we reserve the right to decline to repair the ECU. If this is the case you are still responsible for shipping costs.
- We also reserve the right to change these conditions at any stage.
If your ECU has stopped working, please contact us. We’ll then discuss with you the best way to solve your problems in a cost effective manner.
Please check your local laws and regulations for compliance information on all parts you intend to or purchased from EngineLogics. Some of these parts may render your vehicle suitable for off-road use only. No warranty/guarantee is stated or implied.
EngineLogics assume no liability for damage, harm, or death, consequential or inconsequential, caused by the misuse of our products. Installation of certain products may void the warranty coverage on your vehicle.
NOTE: Federal Law prohibits the removal, or rendering inoperable of any device or design affecting vehicle emissions or safety in a vehicle used on public highways.
Note: All items send to EngineLogics for modification will become the property of EngineLogics until full payment for such work has been received. Except if prior arrangements has been made, all items not paid for in full within thirty (30) days after completion and payment request, will be sold to defray expenses.
Work on Customer Vehicle:
Performance work or engine tuning on any vehicle is subject to the signing of a release form before such vehicle will be worked on or released. The form can be obtained from EngineLogics. No vehicle will be worked on or released without proper completion of this document.
All prices are subject to change without notice. EngineLogics is not responsible for typos or misprinted pricing information. Should a customer place an order amidst a price increase from our supplier(s), EngineLogics will notify the customer of the new price before completing the transaction.
All orders placed online may be processed as quickly as that day (Before 4 PM Monday through Thursday, Friday before 12PM), however for rush orders we encourage you to contact us.
EngineLogics Inc. will not honor any product pricing or shipping charges that is or was wrongly calculated on our website.
We guarantee a response to any email within 48 hours.
Orders on Custom made Items:
All custom made items require a 50% down payment. The balance will be due before shipment.
Core charges will be refunded within 14 days after the core has been received. Except for prior arrangements all cores must be sent to EngineLogics within 14 days after the receipt of the item for which a core was required.
At EngineLogics we know how important it is to our customers to receive their merchandise within a reasonable amount of time. This is why EngineLogics offers all kinds of shipping arrangements to meet our customer’s needs.
International Shipments or orders placed with an international credit card may not be able to pay with a credit card & we may require a wire transfer payment prior to us shipping the products. EngineLogics is not responsible for any duties, taxes or charges which are imposed by the destination country.
We verify the billing as well as the shipping address, so an alternate shipping address may delay processing your order up to 24 hours. If the address to which your order is being shipped differs from your billing address (the address to which your monthly credit card statement is sent), please use the toll-free number on the front or back of your card to contact your credit card company and create an Alternate Shipping Address which is simply a note on your account authorizing purchases that are delivered to a destination other than your billing address. Failure to do so may considerably delay the processing of your order.
EngineLogics Inc. carries USA and import products. Import products may be considerably less expensive, although the packaging may not include some of the standard manufacturers’ accessories that are included with domestic products. USA warranty may be additional. Import products often take a considerably longer shipping time. EngineLogics does not sell products to resellers under any circumstance. We also reserve the right to limit various products to one per customer. Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. All prices are after the manufacturers’ rebate. All rebates are handled by the manufacturer. EngineLogics shall not be held responsible if the manufacturer will not honor the rebate.
EngineLogics Inc. reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order. Your credit card will be charged when your products are ready for shipment. All orders are subject to final approval. Items paid with a personal check will only ship once the check cleared our bank account ( 7 – 12 days) We may contact you regarding adjustments to your order, including but not limited to tax and shipping which you will be informed of prior to billing. You will receive your final statement (receipt) with the arrival of your package. Texas residents are responsible for all applicable sales tax. Thank you for shopping with EngineLogics.
Standard Shelf Items:
All purchases are final. Only purchased items wrongly supplied or with a manufacturers defect will be accepted for return, if brought to our attention within 21 days of the purchase date. Call to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Packages received without a return authorization number will not fall under the responsibility of EngineLogics.
To officially cancel an order, a cancellation number must be obtained. Orders cannot be cancelled after such items have been shipped.
Custom made Items:
Sales on Custom made items are final except in the event of a fabrication error and/or material defect. EngineLogics must be notified of such fabrication errors and or defects within 21 days after the product has been received.
Down payment on custom made orders will NOT be refunded upon cancellation of such order.
Work on Customers Vehicles
Performance work on any vehicle is subject to the signing of a release form before that vehicle will be release. The form can be obtained from EngineLogics. No vehicle will be release without proper completion of this document.
EngineLogics Inc. will not be responsible for the payment of towing charges in the event of a breakdown due to the use of our products or worked performed on the vehicle by us.
EngineLogics Inc. will not supply nor be responsible for the cost of a rental vehicle in the event of a break down due to the use of our products.
